Child Policy

Rose Bay Park is both family & dog friendly & sits at the quiet and sheltered location at the end of Rose Bay.

Policy – Renting Kayaks and Stand Up (Sup) Paddle Boards (SUP) with Children

Point Piper Kayaks will rent a kayak to an adult or adults paddling with children aged from 3yrs under the following conditions.

Children between 3 years and 5 years of age are able to be taken kayaking in our large double or 2+ 1 with 2 adult only in the kayak.

Children between 6 years and 11 years of age can paddle in any Double kayak with one other adult with them.

Children between 12 years and 17 years of age are able to paddle a single kayak or double with an adult paddling with them. (The adult MUST stay within 20 meters of this child at all times)
